yo peepz.. it's THE time of the year again... where SALES signs hog the display windows, big belly jolly ol' men can finally show off (who's got 'em big), cookies and cakes that are so sinfully delicious (i.e. high in sugar.. high in fat...etc.) AND... of course... the growing hole in the pocket although technically i don't celebrate Christmas O_o guess it's the 21st Century thingy again hahahaha seems like Christmas is soon becoming something like CNY or Raya or Deepavali whereby people regardless of their race/religion celebrate with friends and neighbours (maklumlah Malaysia ini muhibah! :P) But i supposed that's a good thing... cuz shopping malls are getting more creative already as compared to previous years' decos! Nowadays i try to go to every major shopping malls here just to see their Christmas deco hahahaha craZy but it's worth it.. trust me. I shall post up some of 'em trees that i get to snap... have fun!

*burp* die loh... I can just feel my abs "unite" underneath +_+ Everyday eat like this is no good one wor.. do u know the breakfast they serve here are delicious? Even the fried kuay teow malay style got sotong and prawn@_@ This morning i had nasi himpit and kuah kacang... DAMNNN! the best kuah kacang i ever tasted *rubs tummy* I hope i'll get bored of the food or something and resist eating breakfast (but i highly doubt so) OR my alternative is to go exercise everyday. Dah la no more capoeira now.. shitz... i'm doomed... some more the whole day sitting down in front of laptop and move finger only. HELP MEEE!!! Oh ya.. for some reason there were CHristmas cooKies appeared in the lounge and boY... those were the best cookies i've ever tasted.. not to say i tried many. Oh oh and there's the cake.. cinnamon apple or something *droolz* too bad (or good depends on how u see it) when i found out there were delicacies on the counter most of them were gone already :(

Food aside..it's Friday now .. i managed to live through it! Not that i have any doubt to begin with but really.. i never thought i could like this place so much!!! not only is the atmosphere here cozy.. my colleagues are really nice. and the working hours here... even if i come in late nobody would say anything because usually everybody comes in after 10 hahaha the only downside to this is that well.. the Interactive department i'm in is really out of my field hahahaha they deal with websites and computer sites most part of it. So like even my supervisor doesn't know what to do with me :P I'll just go on a few more weeks and see.. if really nothing much to do around here then i'll probably request for transfer to another department - i.e. the PR department maybe? Either way.. it's good i supposed ;D

oh ya... due to travelling to and fro work and under the air conditioning with 8 hours and the spillover smokes from the lounge outside (it's just next to the department and the wall and separates the department and smoking lounge is cemented holes +_+) MY FREAKING PIMPLES ARE PEEPING EVERYWHERE WUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaa

TODAY... is my web surfing day..... hehe i read CNN, The Star, The Australian and i still have afford to take Bejeweled break! hahahaha i think it's my last day of nothingness... my supervisor said tomorrow i'll have damn lots of shit to do (SHIT!!!) but then again it could be a good thing! 2 days of walking around the office and going back and forth to the pantry and toilet is enough for me.. though at one point i felt like i've been here for 2 months already hahahaha Oh ya.. they played Christmas songs as well haha i am SO in the Christmas mood :D

Oh ya... i finally saw Yasmin Ahmad todaY! weeeeeeeeee she's rather soft-spoken .. lemah lembut. Hopefully i get the chance to speak to her before i'm outta here. But then again.. what do i want to say to her? Can i have Jason's number? HAHHAHA oh ya.. speaking of that Jason... HE'S NO LONGER WORKING HERE!!!!!!! WUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA such a disappointment.. and here i thought can peep at innocent leng chai *sobz sobz*

The Interactive department i'm working in outnumbered us ladies la but then they're the quiet quiet and shy shy guys haahaha but they're reallY a bunch of nice people.... weeEeeee.. oh and the boss is funny too! he's like this jolly man with quite a belly and always catching his staff for bringing porn to office HAHHAHA he's like teasing OUT LOUD la... not actual real porn but quite "ganas" punya movie.. then i'll be sitting there giggling and he'll be mocking the rest of them for inFlUenCing me of bad stuff hahahaha

ah well it's a good second day at work! and i'm off to capoeira (hopefully) now :D

Getting there

SHIT it's 7.30 am and i still haven't leave the house yet :\ die loh first day of work so-called wanna make a good impression la rite? nooOooooo i had to baring baring some more after hsin gave me morning call $#*&*#^% aiya.. never mind la a tiny lil bit behind schedule only.. relak aaa.. USJ traffic clear - DAMN HAPPY! continue driving ..... *whistles* ...Fly Guy on the radio cracking his usual non-sensical-yet-funny joke... *emergency break* I'M DEAD. The Federal Highway jam starts from SS19. MIAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa +_+ 830 only i hop onto the train. Ah well.. there's nothing much i can do from there so chill ^_^ Guess what? It took only around half an hour's ride to Masjid Jamek.. yAy! Then the MOMENT of truth.... how well is jen's sense of direction? or rather jen's instinct ler since i never really venture near this part of the city before :D So there i was looking like i know my stuff (when in fact i don't :P) .. decided to play it safe and ask for direction but instead what do i get? A confused self O_0 All the answer that i was given sounds like this, "Ya ya Menara Olympia is somewhere here, but i dunno exactly where." . . . . . Finally i had to ask the police officer and wah lah! i was only 10 minutes late hehehhe *fuHh*

Finally there

The front door way is through the escalator and straight into the reception area of Leo Burnett (kinda like going into shopping mall hahaha). You know the feelings that u get the moment u step into one of the Ikea showroom? The warm cozy atmosphere with wooden furnishing and soft orange lights? It's EXACTLY like that. That and the legendary red apples to greet me :D do read the story.... interesting. So anyway... next to the reception area is the lounge area... where they serve breakfast every morning at no extra charge! Ya MAN... which means i don't have to wake up super early just to eat breakfast hua hua hua :P SO basically the rest of the office just doesn't look like any other offices where they have bright white lighting and cubicles in cramped space (like the ones in KDU staff room) that my lecturer used to say - makes her feel like a lab rat. Oh ya.. Yasmin Ahmad's office is da boMb! it's like an elevated room from the office floor abit with a great city view and ..basically it's not just a square box la. Oh ya.. the lounging are punya sofas are also as soft as those u plop onto Ikea showroom :D mann... speaking of Yasmin Ahmad, i have yet to tembung with Jason Sepet.. err.. Ng Cheng Seong or something...oh man i forgotten his name :/

Work, woRk, work

NOT! First day was really... fascinating (to put it mildly) . i thought i was late arriving past 9... the rest of the staff in the department i am assigned to didn't come in until... 11? uh huh.. i was walking arounD the place looking for newspaper and whatnot until somebody comes in at 10 something. and that was ONEbody only... the department only started to fill around 11 *shocking* Apparently there's no strict rule from the department's boss as long as the job gets done :O GroOVy BabY hahahaha i swear... even the manager came like close to lunch time LOLz HAPPENING!! which means there's no use of me coming in sharp at 9 either since nobody's gonna be around until a lil later :P hua hua hua i'm already lovin' it lots :D

Dress Code

THank god i didn't buy extra office wear because most of the staff here wear jeans to work ... and i felT overdressed pulak with my long sleeved collared shirt and black skirt (don't forget i wore proper shoes too!) WaiT.. i think i just saw a lady wearing 3 quarter pants and baby-T :/ wonder if she's a staff here too?

What else ah?? hMMmmm... basically everything is so fascinating and lovely so far... people here are friendly and funnY! ahh.....there'll be a christmas party next week (YIPPEE YAY YAY) i think i should be invited la hor? *ponders* nevermind.. self-invite HAHHAHAHA
